Year Ends for Miguel Angel Díaz in California Monday, May 24th, 2027 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Miguel Angel Díaz of the Golden Bears knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Providence Friars while running the bases. Because of a torn calf muscle, the California catcher is expected to miss 5 months. Díaz was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." To date Díaz has chalked up a .307 average with 6 home runs, driven in 29 runs and scored 27 times. |
