Shaw's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, May 24th, 2027 Ethan Shaw ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Ballpark of Grand Prairie College, when he collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," Shaw said after Colorado was beaten 15-7 by the Xavier Musketeers. "The scoreboard tells the whole story," Colorado manager Ju-yi Gu told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits we had." Ethan Shaw flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Hitting .387 to date, Shaw has 17 home runs and 49 RBIs. He has played in 49 games. |
