Golden Bears Ward Hunter to Miss Year Friday, May 21st, 2027 Earlier today, California reliever Ward Hunter had to leave the game against Georgetown because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn rotator cuff and will miss 5 months of play. Hunter was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. This season Hunter has 3 saves in 31 relief appearances with a 2-0 record and 3.79 ERA. |
