Jim Frank Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Thursday, May 20th, 2027 Jim Frank of the Tennessee Volunteers was injured in today's game against Duke and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn labrum and he is expected to be out for up to 5-6 months. It happened while Frank was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." This year Frank has earned no saves, worked 15 innings, fanned 20 hitters and recorded a 10.80 ERA. He has also put up a 1-1 won-lost mark. |
