Kentucky Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, May 18th, 2027 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Kentucky might have envisioned. The Kentucky Wildcats were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in College Baseball and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Wildcats manager Grant Gray. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2020. In the last 10 seasons, the Wildcats have missed the playoffs 6 times. In total, the Wildcats have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 20-year history. |
