Postseason Bid Ends for Oregon State Monday, May 17th, 2027 The playoff hopes of the Oregon State Beavers have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2027 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the CWS Championship and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Beavers starting pitcher Mark Phillips. The Beavers have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 20 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2018. In the last 10 seasons, the Beavers have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
