Bennett Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, May 17th, 2027 So far in his young career, Edward Bennett has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the NCAA in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Texas A&M Aggies right fielder hit at a torrid .593 clip as he collected 16 hits in 27 at-bats, 8 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Bennett is batting .485 this year with 28 home runs, 69 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 80 hits in 165 at-bats. |
