Bennett Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, May 15th, 2027 The hot bat of Aggies right fielder Edward Bennett continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-4 in today's 4-2 loss to the Fighting Irish at Frank Eck Stadium. Edward Bennett flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. In the current season, Bennett has put up a .497 batting average with 78 hits, 27 home runs, 68 runs batted in and scored 54 runs. |
