Smith Belts Bunch of Base Hits Monday, May 3rd, 2027 The Connecticut Huskies upended the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Dudy Noble Field today, thanks in large part to center fielder Stanley Smith, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Huskies to a 13-8 victory. Stanley Smith hit a three-run home run off Brian Harvey in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 10th.
