Cyclones Miller Out Permanently, Can't Come Back From Injury Thursday, June 25th, 2026 Iowa State reliever Lonnie Miller's baseball career is apparently over. That was the report from his team of specialists. His baseball future had already been put in jeopardy by acute elbow soreness. Further setbacks in his rehabilitation compounded his problems and will force him to retire from the game. The dejected Miller told BNN, "We have exhausted all medical remedies and will have to accept it. It's heartbreaking, but there is simply nothing else that can be done." |
