Injury Setback Forces Norm Sickler Into Retirement Saturday, June 20th, 2026 Wake Forest Demon Deacons starting pitcher Norm Sickler was forced to make the hard decision to call it quits today after suffering a serious setback in his rehabilitation. Sickler told reporters, "I hoped that I would be able to come back from this injury, but it's not looking like that will be the case anymore.
