Iowa State Won't Make Playoffs Sunday, May 24th, 2026 Steve Burton said the "entire Iowa State Cyclones organization" takes it hard when the team misses the postseason. That's the case today, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Cyclones have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 19 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2018. In the last 10 seasons, the Cyclones have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
