Jim Henson to Miss 8 Months Friday, April 10th, 2026 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Jim Henson of the Hawkeyes knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Colorado Buffaloes while throwing a pitch. Because of shoulder inflammation, the Iowa closer is expected to miss 8 months. Henson was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." Henson has worked 5.1 innings in 5 relief appearances thus far this season and picked up 3 saves. He has dished out 3 strikeouts and walked 6 with a 0-0 mark and a 6.75 ERA. |
