McKenzie Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, April 6th, 2026 20-year-old Oregon State first baseman Chris McKenzie had a big day with the bat at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field today against the Cincinnati Bearcats. He went 5-for-5 and led the Beavers to a 8-7 triumph over them. Chris McKenzie singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Carlos Cortéz in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th. Looking at his stats this year, McKenzie has compiled a .350 batting average, while hitting 3 home runs and driving in 11 runs. He has played in 5 games and scored 4 runs. |
