Daniels's Strong Week Earns PIO Trophy Monday, September 6th, 2027 The premier performer in the Pioneer League this week was Patrick Daniels of the Salem Sledgehammers. The hot-hitting 23-year-old left fielder put up a .391 average and .462 on-base percentage, piling up 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the PIO Player of the Week honors. This year Daniels is hitting .257 with 13 home runs and 65 RBIs in 125 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .348 with 54 walks and 51 runs scored. |
