Hernández Fires Shutout in State College Win Friday, September 10th, 2027 Germán Hernández of State College easily handled the El Paso Texans, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete-game 6-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said El Paso manager Máximo Alaniz. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." He finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks in a solid outing.
