APL Player of the Week, Amarante of Montgomery Monday, September 6th, 2027 All week long nobody could get Reinaldo Amarante out in the Appalachian League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Montgomery second baseman took home the trophy by blasting 17 hits in 32 at-bats for a .531 batting average, driving in 9 runs and scoring 10 times. Looking at his stats this year, Amarante has compiled a .304 batting average, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 22 runs. He has played in 33 games and scored 21 runs. |
