Player of the Week Trophy to Fernández Monday, July 26th, 2027 This week Sergio Fernández, first baseman for the Scottsdale Scorpions, hit his way to the Appalachian League Player of the Week Award. Fernández put on a hitting clinic with a .417 average as he belted and battered APL pitchers for 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 6 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 9 runs. This season Fernández has delivered 61 hits in 236 at-bats for a .258 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .404 clip and his totals also include 42 RBIs and 41 runs scored. This year Fernández has played in 78 games. |
