Savannah Loses Hernández for Year Friday, July 2nd, 2027 Hogs left fielder Manny Hernández will be spending 8 months on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against Pensacola making a defensive play and suffered a torn labrum. The Savannah GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow. Thus far in 2027 Hernández is hitting .346 with 5 home runs, 35 RBIs, 32 runs scored and has compiled a .500 OBP. |
