Moreno Wins APL Player of the Week Monday, June 28th, 2027 There was no one hotter in the Appalachian League last week as Sergio Moreno attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award. The 21-year-old Savannah catcher batted .333 with 9 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs and 13 RBIs. Thus far this season Moreno is hitting .276 with 9 home runs, 51 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 86 hits in 312 at-bats and has played in 79 games. |
