Huge Year For Tigers Sandusky, Nabs Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, October 20th, 2027 22-year-old Jeff Sandusky of the Lee's Summit Tigers put together a good year in 2027 for such a young player. Sandusky was named today as the winner of the Midwest League Outstanding Pitcher Award. Sandusky crafted an impressive 13-6 record and a 1.76 ERA. In 179 innings he allowed 125 hits, struck out 242, and walked 46. Marcos Flores of the Lee's Summit Tigers finished second in voting, while Juan Contreras of the Wisconsin Rapids Rangers finished third. |
