Year Over for Rangers Toro
Sunday, August 22nd, 2027
It took the Wisconsin Rapids team doctor a while to realize it, but second baseman Miguel Toro won't simply play through a broken hand after he got hurt colliding with a player at a base in today's Meatheads-Rangers game. At first, it looked like Toro might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 months.

Looking at his season stats, Toro has compiled a .298 batting average and a .369 on-base percentage, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 75 runs.
