Baker Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 2nd, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Midwest League, but last week Denver Baker of the Manhatten Meatheads reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Baker rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 1 home run and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. Currently Baker is batting .285 with 10 home runs, 66 RBIs and 62 runs scored. |
