Brent Haynes Sidelined for Season Sunday, August 1st, 2027 The doctors have spoken and Brent Haynes of the Manhatten Meatheads didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old catcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Haynes sustained his season-ending injury during the Bemidji Benders game yesterday at Barnett Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while making a defensive play. Today the Manhatten medical staff reported Haynes had a fractured ankle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. In the 2027 season Haynes is hitting .290 with 3 home runs. |
