MSL Announces Outstanding Batter Award Sunday, August 1st, 2027 Jeff Townsley may be much younger than other hitters in the Midwest League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Plumstead center fielder hit .337 with 5 home runs, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This season in 64 games Townsley is batting .313 with 8 home runs, 39 RBIs and has scored 43 times. |
