Bruce Hits in 20 Straight Games Thursday, August 19th, 2027 Tim Bruce of the Wilmington Rebels extended his hitting string to 20 straight games with 2 hits in today's 8-6 triumph over the Newark Bulldogs at Newark Recreational Ballpark. Tim Bruce struck out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Darrell Stanley in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Darrell Stanley in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and walked in the 9th. Thus far this year Bruce has hit .349 with 12 home runs and 56 RBIs. |
