Hit Streak Now at 20 for Reid Saturday, August 7th, 2027 Fans around the league are beginning to get interested in the Overrated Jeter 23-year-old third baseman Tim Reid. What is drawing all the attention is his 20-game hitting streak. Reid extended it again in today's game with the Bulldogs with 2 hits. But it wasn't enough. Newark won the game 9-8. Tim Reid grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This season Reid has hit at a .354 clip with 35 RBIs, 6 home runs and 36 runs scored. |
