Spiridon Raps Wichita for 5 Hits Friday, April 30th, 2027 The Wichita Wranglers might think twice next time about pitching to Jaime Spiridon. At Wrangler Stadium today, the Memphis Blues shortstop burned Wichita pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 18-11 Memphis triumph. "When he's on his game," Memphis skipper Allen Crawford told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Jaime Spiridon singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Augusto Pérez in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and walked in the 9th.
