Big Day for Harris: Swats 5 Hits Saturday, September 25th, 2027 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Nick Harris is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Wichita Wranglers at Paradise Park today.The monster effort from the 23-year-old center fielder helped the West Virginia Power take the win, 18-2. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Wranglers manager Jorge Ortíz. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Nick Harris singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a three-run triple in the 8th. This season Harris has banged out 43 hits in 135 at-bats for a .319 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .513 pace and his totals also include 26 RBIs and 37 runs scored.
