Alfredo Sánchez Named Best SNL Batter in August Wednesday, September 1st, 2027 Alfredo Sánchez is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Wichita first baseman joined that select company when the Southern League announced the results of August's voting. Sánchez totaled 34 hits, 22 walks, 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 23 runs scored last month to put together a .312 batting average and .441 on-base percentage. In his season totals, Sánchez has 18 home runs, .325 BA, .457 OBP, 81 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has played in 117 games. |
