Bell on Fire: 5-for-7 for West Virginia Sunday, June 20th, 2027 Brett Bell of the West Virginia Power went on a hitting spree today against the Beaumont Roughnecks pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 7 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Roughnecks put a damper on his day and prevailed 10-9 over the Power. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Brett Bell singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, struck out in the 10th and singled in the 13th.
