Red-Hot Carr Scorches Missions

It was a parade of hits for Jeremy Carr of the Spokane Trappers at Missions Ballpark today.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Carr finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Trappers to a 28-5 victory.
"Carr was really good and we were really bad," groaned Missions manager Kip Rasmussen. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Jeremy Carr singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Lloyd Harmon in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Tommy Waters in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
