Isotopes Buried - Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 29th, 2027 It has been a woeful season for the Albuquerque Isotopes and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Melvin Patterson. "And nothing broke our way this year." The Isotopes have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 20 years as a Pacific Coast League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2021. In the last 10 seasons, the Isotopes have missed the playoffs 5 times. Albuquerque has won the PCL Championship 2 times in their history. |
