Wright Goes 5-for-5 Saturday, August 28th, 2027 Bruins first baseman Morgan Wright had his way with Vancouver pitching today at The Viper Nest and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Vipers ruined his great day by toppling the Bruins, 7-6. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Vancouver credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Wright did today," Vipers skipper Fernando Sánchez said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Morgan Wright doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Javier Toledo in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
