Howard Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 22 Saturday, July 24th, 2027 Vancouver triumphed over District 9 today 6-1. However, that was not the whole story. Vipers first baseman Larry Howard failed to get a hit for the first time in 22 games. Howard went hitless in 3 at-bats and had his streak broken. Commenting to reporters at his press conference, he said, "Some days the past few weeks I carried the club, today they carried me. No matter what, it is always good to win a ballgame." Presently Howard is batting .359 and has collected 17 home runs, 52 RBIs, .431 OBP and scored 54 runs. |
