Big Day with Bat: Flores 5-for-5 Saturday, June 26th, 2027 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for José Flores today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at The Quarantine and paced the Prawns to a 10-2 win over the Gresham Gold Souls. After his dynamite batting performance, the District 9 left fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. José Flores doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. Presently Flores is batting .260 with 15 home runs and 63 RBIs.
