Castro Selected ITL's Top Pitcher Thursday, October 21st, 2027 The Blueville 83's have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Salvador Castro, this year's International League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Castro compiled a 18-4 record in 33 starts, tallied 250 strikeouts in 197.1 innings and recorded a 3.47 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .240 batting average against him. Cody White of the Blueville 83's finished second in voting, while Alfonso Rodríguez of the Richmond Flairs finished third. |
