Hitting Streak Still Alive for Reeves Wednesday, September 15th, 2027 The Trenton Stars stopped the Richmond Flairs today 8-7 and George Reeves was able to hit safely again. The Trenton second baseman got 2 hits and ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. Reeves was excited after the victory and told the press, "I want to get a hit every time up. I want to get a hit every game I play. I want to win every game for the greatest fans in the world, Stars fans!" George Reeves doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. So far this year Reeves is batting .298 with 4 home runs, 25 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |
