Cedeño Takes Best Bat Award in August Wednesday, September 1st, 2027 António Cedeño has a lot going for him. The Tuscaloosa first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the International League has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 29 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .352 with 12 home runs, 40 RBIs and 26 runs scored. This year Cedeño is hitting .347 with 48 home runs and 137 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .417 clip and scored 102 runs. |
