Cole Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Wednesday, August 18th, 2027 No matter what the Detroit X-Wings threw at him today, Kenny Cole hit it. He easily handled X-Wings pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Clams to a 20-6 triumph at Saddlehorn Stadium. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Cole's quip, X-Wings skipper Bernardo Martínez said he "would take him up on that next time." Kenny Cole hit a solo-shot off Javier Duarte in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Sergio Luna in the 9th.
