Pat Jackson Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Tuesday, August 10th, 2027 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Pat Jackson of the X-Wings knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Blueville 83's while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn back muscle, the Detroit reliever is expected to miss 4-5 months. Jackson was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." Jackson has made 14 relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 21 innings he has a 0-1 record, 9.86 ERA with 14 strikeouts and 12 walks. |
