Denton 5-for-5 Against Detroit Tuesday, July 20th, 2027 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Wisconsin's John Denton made it happen today against the X-Wings. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Timber Rattlers to a 15-9 win at Saddlehorn Stadium. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Denton said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." John Denton hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jorge Gómez in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
