Rollers Smith Smacks 5 Hits Friday, July 16th, 2027 It was high-fives all around for Phil Smith at East End Park today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Portland Privateers. Smith smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 14-4 win. "Phil was hitting everything," said Rollers manager Ethan Larson. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Privateers manager told BNN beat writers that Smith "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Smith oversleeps next time." Phil Smith hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
