The 24-year-old Chávez got 5 hits in 5 at-bats, helping to down the Tornados. Roberto Chávez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Seiichi Yamamoto in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
