Deplorables Advance to BSA Championship Thursday, October 28th, 2027 The Fresno Deplorables are riding high after knocking off the Springfield Stars in the League Championship. "We're feeling pretty confident now and that's half the battle," said Troy Donaldson, who was named series MVP. "You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this." Fresno won the final game by a 10-2 count at Kekambas Park and the series 4-2. For the series, Donaldson hit .458 with a .519 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Fresno Deplorables will play against the Plymouth Rocks in the next round.
