Deplorables Dominate, Sweep Wildcard Round Saturday, October 9th, 2027 The Fresno Deplorables had all facets of their game going and have swept the Pocatello Boccabellas in the Wildcard Round. Fresno now heads off to the Divisional Round, after wrapping up the series with a 5-3 win. Manolo Román was named MVP, as he put up a .571 batting average, with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Fresno Deplorables will play against the Greenville 84s in the next round. Greenville had a bye in the Wildcard Round.
