Hit Streak Now at 34 for Daniels

And the streak goes on.
Jeff Daniels collected another hit in the Deplorables 5-1 win over the Sheens. The Fresno first baseman was 1-for-5 in the game. After the game, Daniels commented on his 34-game hitting streak. "I'm not doing too much, just trying to get the bat on the ball and put it in play."
His manager said, "Jeff makes it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day." Jeff Daniels grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
To date Daniels has chalked up a .379 average with 36 home runs, driven in 133 runs and scored 110 times.
