Bandits End Márquez's Streak Thursday, September 2nd, 2027 Jorge Márquez's 21-game hitting streak was snapped today at Hawthrone Grill. The 31-year-old Royale with Cheese shortstop failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game with the San Francisco Bandits, but Kalamazoo came out the winner, topping them 7-6. One of his teammates told BNN, "The streak was no big deal to Jorge. He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames. That's the bottom line." This year Márquez is batting .292 with 1 home run and 28 RBIs. |
