Tropics Espinoza to Miss Year Tuesday, August 24th, 2027 Maui fans held their breath as Jesús Espinoza left yesterday's Bandits-Tropics contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 26-year-old third baseman had suffered a broken bone in the elbow while colliding with a player at a base. It's estimated that he will be out 4-5 months. In his 2027 season totals, Espinoza has 20 home runs, .307 BA, .351 OBP, 52 RBIs and 49 runs scored. |
