Anderson Fires Shutout in Birmingham Win Monday, August 23rd, 2027 Mark Anderson handcuffed the Hendersonville Hitmen at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace today, coming away with a 3-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Birmingham Steeldogs right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Anderson had little trouble with the Hitmen and led the Steeldogs to victory, 4-0. He recorded 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
